Dreams given from GOD

What stops creativity and dreams?

Everyone needs to dream and give an expression of love and unity

Do you remember your last dream?

I remember when I was in middle school and hated having the alarm clock go off when I was in the middle of a dream. I wanted to close my eyes tight again and fall back into the mist of fantasy, excitement and get back to the dreamy world with no limitations and absolute imaginary freedom. I did not want to listen to the alarm bells ringing in my ears and have to submit to leaving a thought, a world, a feeling or and idea that was not only running around in my mind but also in my heart and soul. So when did all these dreams leave me and how did I get to where I am today? Can I start dreaming again?

Dreams are a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep.

So this is where we need to ask the questions of why and how these dreams stopped?

We use the word "dream" a lot in the world to talk about things we are thinking of doing or things we have fantasized about doing one day. Most of the time we talk about extraordinary feats connected to an action that might occur if other circumstances or situations line up. Do you ever find yourself saying, "if only this would happen everything would workout and I could start my dream, my plan...if only this would happen." These are the actions we think must happen before we can start to express ourselves into this dreamable idea. But there always comes a time in our life when we sift our minds from childish dreams to adult thoughts. We want to tell ourselves that we are all grown up now and we need to quit fantasizing and dreaming.

Are you still a child or are you all GROWN UP?

When going back to the thoughts of being a child and having dreams, most adults say a couple phrases when you start getting older, "stop being childish," and or, "grow up." This could be the start and trigger to the decline of our mental ability to dream and fantasize about doing something outside of or abilities and current situation. Doing something that extreme and that radical without all the stars lining up, without luck, without mandatory action steps to build qualified confidence, now that could be crazy. Or we could say it would be taking a step of faith.

When we are young and lacking experience in life, in family, in education and in faith, we dream and fantasize about how we can do to make our personal situation better and how we can express how amazing we are in this world that revolves around "ME." Once we get older and think we are all grown up, we see conflict in the way we think, the way we dream and the way we express ourselves. The reality is when we think about dreams in the real world, the awake world, we are just using different words around the understanding of dreams; words like ideas, plans, visions and possibilities.

There are many questions and concerns a human being has about how to express these ideas, plans, visions and possibilities of what to do with their wants and desire. Now the deeper questions comes to how can we express these real emotional wants and desires, true feelings and thoughts, while being a seeker of Christ. This is when the "ME" turns to "Him."

How Creative can a Christian be?

Here is a list we should think about while sorting through our dreams, desires and talents as a follower of Christ

  • Understand that dreams never go away, we just put different names on them

  • You must dream, have ideas, make crazy plans and think about impossible things

  • A shift from ME to HIM is a step we can only take with spiritual growth

  • Knowing I am not qualified and it is impossible is a great start

  • This wisdom moves us into areas where we can only rely on God in all we do

  • Dreaming about HIS desire, will and needs now get ME out of the way

  • Listen and Obey

Now we have start our shift of not thinking like an adult and trapping our heart, mind and soul from dreamings. But we are allowing ourselves to be like a child to open up our Spiritual imagination to be creative as a Christian expressing our love for GOD.

He wants it ALL

Once we understand that all our desires, all our needs, all our wants are lining up with God's will, our personal dreams graduate to Dreams Given From God.
